Presented on November 1, 1999 at the Benchmark management conference in Aventura, Florida, the award recognizes the highest quality offered in the home building field. In addition to the Florida presentation, Indian Ridge's award was publicized in an article in the October 1999 issue of Professional Builder magazine detailing our quality procedures.

The competition for the 2000 National Housing Quality Silver Award was sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders Research Center and Professional Builder Magazine. Projects were evaluated on the role quality played in home design and construction, business management and customer relationships, and warranty service. The tribute is equivalent to the Malcolm Baldridge award.

We are honored to have received this award. It is a tribute to our company-wide dedication to excellence in home building. We have achieved the industry's highest recognition of quality and it's clear our buyers appreciate our adherence to high standards.

This includes involving employees in preventing problems and installing procedures for continuously improving quality instead of regarding it as something that can be installed with a single effort."

It's no surprise Sunrise Colony was singled out for honors. The name "Sunrise" has always been synonymous with quality not withstanding their history of more than 30 years of home building experience and award-winning design of country club communities.
