and Their Pets

Located on Fiore Bella Boulevard, within the guard gates of the adult
community of Siena, lies a park designed for Siena owners and their pets.
Recently, Siena held a Name the Pet Park contest. Homeowner Roxanne
Daniel’s submission, "Furrassic Park" was chosen as the winning entry by the
Siena Board of Directors. Daniel, and her dog Mr. T, received a mall gift
certificate, a pet supply gift certificate and a donation in Daniel’s name
to the Animal Foundation.
"We are very proud to be able to offer our residents such a wonderful
park for them and their pets to enjoy. The park features shade trees, park
benches, complimentary bags and disposal units and lots of grassy area for
pets to roam," said John Holden, Siena’s General Manager.
Kristyne Blake, Siena’s Community Activities Manager says, "Sunrise
Colony decided that a pet park would be a great amenity to the Siena
Community. We have numerous homeowners who have pets and this is a safe,
comfortable area for the pets to walk and play." She also added that the
park offers pets lots of room to play and exercise.
Located on the southwest edge of the Las Vegas Valley, within the
award-winning master planned community of Summerlin, residents find an adult
community like no other. Here, set between the natural beauty of Red Rock
Canyon and the sparkling lights of the Las Vegas Strip, Sunrise Colony
Company has created a world designed for relaxation and rejuvenation named
Siena.
According to Paul Smith, Sunrise Colony Company senior vice president and
Siena project manager, Sunrise Colony Company specializes in the development
of resort style communities, with more than 30 years of experience
throughout the Southwest. "At Siena, we’ve taken our company’s legendary
resort community concept and applied it to an adult community, where at
least one resident of each home must be no younger than 50 years of age.
Within its guarded gates, private streets, and patrolled neighborhoods,
Siena’s residents have access to an unparalleled variety of recreational and
social activities to enjoy including golf, swimming, dancing, bocce ball,
tennis, craft clubs, social organizations and much more."
The recently opened 13,500-square-foot Siena Golf Clubhouse, which
anchors the Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley-designed, 18-hole, par-72 daily-fee
championship Siena Golf Club, is strategically positioned to offer
magnificent views of the 18th hole, Lake Siena and the Las Vegas
skyline. The fully equipped golf pro shop offers the latest in fashionable
sportswear and accessories along with a full range of state-of-the-art golf
equipment. A full-service restaurant, The Siena Bistro, features indoor and
patio dining in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. And for special occasions,
The Bistro serves as a perfect venue for social gatherings and receptions.
The Siena Golf Club is open to all ages however, Siena residents are

The community’s 15,900-square-foot Tuscan-themed Health & Fitness Center
features an indoor swim pavilion with a 25-meter pool, spa and series of
two-story windows overlooking the golf course, outdoor pool and spa, lighted
tennis and bocce ball courts. The fitness center is equipped with the latest

of classes and club gatherings, from ballroom dancing to watercolor
painting.
Siena’s new Community Center will break ground soon. A dramatic
dome-shaped lobby and lounge will serve as the focal point of this facility,
but the Grand Ballroom will serve as its heart and soul. The 17,600 square
foot building section will be used for such activities as theater
productions, political debates, evening entertainment and much more. In
addition, this magnificent facility will feature a cyber café, a business
center, arts and crafts, cards and game rooms, and will be the hub of all
social activity at Siena. The Community Center is anticipated to open in
Spring 2003.
