Summerlin
January 13, 2002
The active-adult community of Siena in Summerlin is celebrating the
grand opening of its new line of resort-style villas featuring four
floor plans and prices that range in price from the $140,000s to the
$160,000s.
"This is truly an exciting addition to the Siena community," said
Paul Smith, senior vice president and Siena project manager. "Now buyers
have the option of purchasing a resort-style villa and enjoying the
benefits of living in the community, including our Fitness Center,
Social Center and Siena Golf Club."
The Siena Villas feature four floor plans that range in size from
1,040 square feet to 1,378 square feet, each with a finished, attached
two-car garage.
Plan 4110 measures 1,040 square feet with one bedroom and a den or
optional second bedroom and one-and-a-half baths while Plan 4120
measures 1,180 square feet with one bedroom and a den or optional second
bedrooms and two baths.
Plan 4130 measures 1,288 square feet with one bedroom and a den
or optional second
bedroom with two baths while Plan 4140 has two bedrooms and a den
plus two baths and measures 1,378 square feet.
The Siena Villas include such features a private courtyard entries,
covered rear yard patios, front and side yard landscaping, spacious rear
yards with private garden wall, individual curbside mail service,
spacious walk-in closet in master suite and interior laundry room.
"We anticipate the Siena Villas selling very quickly, as already many
of our 700+ residents have already expressed an interest in purchasing a
villa or have friends and family who are interested in the villa as a
seasonal residence," said Smith.
A variety of customizing options, upgrades and interior design are
also offered at the Siena Villas through Siena’s on-site Design Studio.
In addition to the Siena Villas, buyers can also choose from four
Italian-themed collections of homes and 14 single-story floor plans that
range in size from 1,200 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet.
Prices range from the $170,000s to the $600,000s. The plans offer three
exterior designs and a range of customizing options, including courtyard
fireplaces and casitas with separate entrances.
Siena features a Tuscan-themed, 15,900-square-foot Fitness Center
with an indoor swim pavilion with a 25-meter pool, spa and series of
two-story windows overlooking the community’s golf course, outdoor pool
and spa, lighted tennis and bocce ball courts. The fitness center also
has cardiovascular, weight and exercise rooms, as well as private saunas
and steam rooms and wellness center. A full-service beauty salon and day
spa offers a wide variety of therapeutic massages, sports therapy,
reflexology and natural body treatments. There is also an on-site
Wellness Center that’s run by Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center.
The 13,500-square-foot Siena golf clubhouse is currently under
construction at the community, which will feature a golf shop, locker
rooms and casual dining. Completion is scheduled for late spring/early
summer 2002.
Siena’s social center has a computer lab, billiards and card rooms,
and is the setting for a wide variety of classes, from ballroom dancing
to watercolor painting. There is a full-time activities manager.
Open on a daily-fee basis to all ages, Siena’s par-72 18-hole
championship golf course winds through the village. One-third of the
1,900 homes will be built along the Schmidt and Curley course, which
incorporates the rolling terrain of the Spring Mountain foothills into
its design. Siena residents are given special rates and preferred tee
times.
A palm-lined private road leads to the Tuscan tower at the center of
Siena’s guard-gated entry. Security officers also patrol Siena’s
neighborhoods on a 24-hour basis.
To reach the Siena models, take Sahara Avenue or Interstate 215 west
and turn left on Town Center Drive. Take Town Center south to Siena
Monte and turn left. The sales office and model homes are open daily
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
