At a recent champagne dedication of the Siena fitness center, residents signed the foundation slab of the 15,900-square-foot facility, slated to open in late fall. It will have a cardiovascular and weight room, a wellness center, saunas, steam rooms, massage rooms, and a 25-meter indoor lap pool. Additional outdoor recreational facilities will include lighted tennis courts, bocce ball courts, a large lap and resort swimming pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, and a network of hiking and biking trails. Siena will have a nearly-40,000-square-foot community center with arts and crafts facilities, meeting rooms, a library, a grand ballroom and theater, card rooms, a billiards room, and a computer and business center. The community’s golf course, open to the general public, meanders through lush high desert terrain with the Spring Mountains as a panoramic backdrop. One-third of the 1,900 homes will be built along the course. Siena residents are given special rates and preferred tee times. The 11,800 square-foot Golf Club will include a pro shop, a practice and learning facility and the Siena Grille, with an exterior dining patio. Sunrise Colony Company’s 665-acre project’s homes range from the mid-$150,000s up to approximately $450,000. All single-story and detached, Siena’s 14 floor plans range from 1,200 to more than 3,000 square feet. The southern boundary is near Russell Road. To reach the Siena model village, take Sahara Avenue west and turn left on Town Center Drive.
